    Guys

I am trying to develop a complete information web portal. My site name is www.globalcashsite.com that is simple html site that I created myself. But I think simple html based site will not attract more visitors to site and I must need to have some good looking site.

I install 4 scripts from Fantastico, please have a look and give me your recommendation which one is good function wise and compatibility wise with AdSense, AdBrite, Bidvertiser, etc so in future I can easily place ads on these sites.

    http://globalcashsite.com/geeklog/index.php
    http://globalcashsite.com/wordpress/
    http://globalcashsite.com/drupal/
    http://www.globalcashsite.com/joomla/

So far Geeklog and Joomla designs are very impressive. What is your recommendation which one I should choose. You can see my site to have an idea what kind of site I am going to develop on it.

    Thank you

    GCS

    Another vote for Wordpress here.
If you're going to invest time into getting to know a particular CMS, make it WP. You can hack the crap out of it and make it do whatever you want.

    i'm agree with you all.
wordpress is better than drupal or Joomla!!

If you use Joomla as your website program??The hacker will deface your web....i never use other program like drupal or geeklog, i ever use joomla, and what i got?!hacker has deface my web......

From that accident i'm change my CMS to wordpress.....

Usually the path to take :

First starter : go with wordpress, until you see that it can't perform as you expected
More advanced : Level up to Joomla, until you feed up with paying for modules and messy code
Much more advanced : level up to drupal until your site has more visitor than drupal can handle
Top of the food chain : custom asp script, you wont get here soon enough....

That is just from my experience developing e-commerce site. others may vary.
