    Make sure the BOLDED items are DO FOLLOW and have page rank on the main page. Otherwise, you'd be wasting your time.

    I agree with the Do Follow aspect, however, just because a page does not have Google page rank, doesn't mean it is a waste of time.

    You must remember that Google is not the only player on the field and the other search engines don't pay any attention to page rank

    Also, just because a page does not have page rank today, doesn't mean it won't have page rank tomorrow...all pages start out with "0" PR

    You forgot the best way to get quality one way link, which is "to create quality content". Many people will link to you by themselves, happily if you have unique quality content.
