Hi guys, Just wanted to know what is it about twitter that google is following it so much? I dont understand what it is different most to facebook and other websites. Can anyone elaborate on it more on twitter and how even it can be used for achieving google ranking becos i have seen more and more profiles from that website in google results page.
Twitter profile give option to add your website that website link is follow link so you will get one follow link from the twitter and it will help to increase your website value but it's not give good rank in google search result. you can see http://twitterfeed.com/ have good PR if you use that website service in your twitter account then each post get one link that why that website get good PR so it will help you to get good rank

but i agree it should not crawl twitter. Most of it is useless knowledge and information. Unless I want to know what Susan cooked for dinner last night. Then I can find out!
Its strange that it crawls twitter, but rather then not crawling it I think they would have some special rules regarding its information if they were to have anything. Edit: Apparently my twitter page has a PR of 5?! Well, I'm not complaining.
Maybe they plan to buy twitter, and are building twitters traffic with plans to buy it then immediately monetize it with ads .
Honestly but I think Google is trying to steal away others ideas to make money off. They are trying to over take Twitter and Facebook with their latest releases, but in the long run they will fail.
Smart webmasters on Twitter occupied many cool keywords names and now when we search for those keywords then we can find twitter profiles on 1st rank in google many times . Big brands also moves with trends and right now twitter is like a trend for online users .
