http://www.hityotta.com seems to be a real free pay per click website for webmasters. URL submission is free also. All hits are targeted and adsense safe. I received about 400 hits this month and they are fair with their links.

Thought I might share this information with other webmasters.

Ok a few days have gone by and the hityotta thing seems pretty good. I have received a fair number of hits for both sites I put on there. They seem to mix up the links so you wont always be on the bottom. It takes a little time to get accepted, but the traffic should be worth it. the other site? Maybe one hit. Everyone that signed up for my free links got more than that and mine's a new site. I would check out the hityotta. It is one of the many reason that my traffic has increased 10 fold this last week. One of the many streams.

You should start seeing pretty good results within that timeframe. Either way it's free, and a good source of traffic :)

I will check it out. But one has to be careful about the adsense. Better remove the adsense from the page on which you are getting traffic.

Not illegal from adsense when there are no false impressions. Nobody is forced to go to your website...

I'm getting about a 3-5 uniques a day right now for my game site and a little less for my business site.

I'm guessing certain niches will probably do better than others based on experience from pay per click.

Oh, and having all these people sign up isn't helping us either lol
Tell them to increase their pay per click per day :)

Alright, so after a few days I am getting a little bit of traffic. However, it is nothing compared to the traffic I am getting from ezinearticles, etc. Definitely a good resource though.

OK I have to cry, "FOUL!" Let me start off by saying I really appreciate the free link from hityotta. Any free traffic is better than none; however, I have a lot of difficulty with what I think are misleading posts in this thread. I am going to lay it all out here and everyone can at least have information at their disposal.

If you go back a few posts, I posted a question wondering if anyone had seen a drop off in their hits from the site. SC_king posted that he was still getting good traffic. Foul #1 since with a little research on this forum, you can see that sc_king is an owner or actively participating in this site:

    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?p=11072455#post11072455

Now amazingly enough my stats went up from hityotta in the days following. That's great right? Foul #2. Almost 90% of those hits are from the same city that the hityotta domain is hosted from. Now there are a lot of newbies in here that may not know how to evaluate their stats well enough to make this distinction so I think that is just plain wrong. I would suggest that you can throw out any hits that you have from Windsor, ON as frivolous or useless hits. And yes they are monitoring this forum regularly because another web site I registered with them did not have increased traffic in the time after posting my previous message (the only hit was from Windsor though so I am thowing it out of my stats). Taking into consideration foul 1 and foul 2, I would not be surprised if a couple people posting here are associated with the site, but I wont make a foul 3 since that is pure conjecture and assumption and you know what assume gets you.

Ok, enough said. Hityotta guys - thanks for the free links (though they may purge me after this). People here will jump at the chance to put free links on a site such as yours. You dont have to cook the books. Everybody here is struggling - the successful, unsuccessful, and everyone in between. The internet is a difficult and constantly changing beast to keep up with so it does not help if someone is making it harder to determine what is working and what isnt. Fair enough?

    @carolinainvestor

Firstly, I registered my websites with them and I owe it to them to get the word out. I'm sorry for scamming you with free stuff haha.

    Foul #2

Because you got a few hits from the same city, they're false clicks? How many clicks did you get and how long have you been registered? You can't have returning visitors? Forgive me, but that sounds dumb.

    Foul #3

All I have to say is, I would got someone else to start this thread if I was working with others. But maybe i'm playing mind games?

Honestly, you sound like a person who bases everything on assumptions and makes a lot of enemies. Be grateful it's free. I find it kind of ironic coming from a person who is advertising traffic generators (false impressions). No I didn't know that b/c i have access to their database, it's in your name.

Ok, first I know it sounds disingenuous, but I did thank you for the free link. As I said, any traffic is good traffic. My problem is - and has been - with the way you are publicizing it. In your quote above, you once again insinuate that this is not your site. If it isn't then I am very sorry for that part of my comment. However I am including the quote from the other post you made (link in my previous post) below. It kinda makes one think you own the site...if you do own it then why are you acting like a third party?

I think that was a great approach anyway. Your site, links are free - I just dont get all the subterfuge since then.

Could all be legit. It was kinda suspect to me that I drop down to almost no clicks - post a question to see if anyone else has dropped - clicks go up next day but 7 out of 8 are from the city the site is based out of? Kinda suspect to me. Maybe others can let us know if a lot of their clicks happen to be from a Windsor, Ontario. Surely a city with a population just over 200k would not dominate our clicks from a global site. Hey maybe my site is just that good.

Here's the thing. Its just not necessary. I would be happy for that one click that I assume is legit. That's one more than I had. Anyway, if its not your site then what do you care?

Frankly just the opposite. If you look at my posts here and in other forums around the net, I am generally friendly and try to be helpful. This kinda bugged me so I did a little research and I thought those that are here on this thread should know my results. Now they do and they can make their own assumptions. Maybe I was wrong and should have sent you a PM. Oh well I didn't. I really dont want to get into a p--- match.

As I said - I am thankful for every click and I would still tell people to sign up. Why not its free. They may need to check their stats carefully.

Call that what you want, but after filtering out all my visits from Windsor, I have received more "false impressions" from that generator than hityotta. Yes people are driven to a site with the viral style traffic generator. I also understand that a lot of people here dont like them. I will take all the traffic I can get. It gets people to my site and it is my job to make them stay. Some people bounce, but there are others that I can find from my stats that have looked around. Once again free. Why not?

To me, any traffic is good traffic because I get a chance to make my point and some will stay.

I'm done. I've said my piece and now I will drop it.

Sorry for the late reply, was on vacation.

I'm sorry if I offended you with the way I publicized the website. I try to go with what works on this forum, as do many others.

You're calling me out... that's why I care...
I would understand if I was scamming people out of their money, or wasting their time.

I really can't believe we're arguing over a few hits from the same "city". You'd think an advertising company would start within their own location first. But really what do I know...

How you handle your traffic is your own business. Everybody uses analytics nowadays anyway, so they can do as they wish too.

Never knew giving a free resource would be such a pain in the a**.

Well I just sign up for both hityotta.com and yourtraffictalk.com :)

I look at it this way, ...

    1. It took me a couple of minites to sign up to both.
    2. Its another backlink to my site.
    3. Its FREE

So either way, I look at this as a positive thing

Thanks for the info on these sites.

    I registered on hityotta.com a month ago. I have 17 clicks total. I don't know how you're getting 400.
