Do You Think Marijuana Shoud Be Legal Or Not?

yes, it can;t be more harmful than cigarettes and heavy alcohocol. let's be honest, those two kill more people and they are stil legal.

 

Anything that kills, kills more than marijuana.... no one has ever died from getting high, including myself

 

It's funny how the "soapbox kings" can rant about it being a drug but will drink alcohol like fish . it is only illegal because the government has'nt found a way to grow,control,and distribute it yet. We are so behind in certain things to be "world leaders" . Liquor is far more harmful than marijuana will ever be . I smoke and have for 30 years. it doesn't make me lazy or slow. I have sickle cell anemia (severe pain episodes) and it is the only thing that maintains this . I have never driven fast or fought anybody using marijuana , however ,I have had a drink or two and wanted to wreck a bar for no reason . Driving fast is almost a requirement when drinking . when you smoke the only thing in danger is your waistline .

 

It's funny how it's illegal yet every time I smoke, breaking any other law is the last thing on my mind.

 

Well making it illegal hasn't stopped people from smoking it or people selling it. We don't seem to care about what the law says or what is good for our health anymore. People just don't care about themselves or others.

 

Ah! Legalize it... Legalize weed... Atleast medical marijuana should be legalized...

 

I think it should only be used by the people who need it. Only for medical use. I think it should be legal if watched.

 

Another point for legalising;

Currently a 12 year old can walk up to a dealer and ask for an 8, most dealers will make a crack about how young the kid is, and sell to him anyway.
The same 12 year old walks into a supermarket and tries to buy tobaco, gets laughed at and told to come back in a few years.

When I was a wee lad we used to joke about how alcohol was the hardest drug to get, because it was the only one with laws behind it

I care about the laws just fine, some of them. Until you understand how our society is actually ran then you may have an open mind about certain issues. But most are living in an illusion with spun news, crappy education system, genetically modified food...but they don't care, as long as they get entertainment from american idol.

Where do you get your assumption people who smoke marijuana don't care about themselves? haha.... wow. I guess people who eat unhealthy, drink alcohol, addicted to caffeine, etc...all that is fine, because our government allows it. You should try living your life to the fullest, not to the limits your society sets for you. Or just continue being conformed by living in a controlled society sucking the teet of your government, maybe they will give you free college as long as you donate service to the global warming hoax...

I am willing to bet great amounts of money that you have never even thought of taking a logic class.

 

That is absolutely ridiculous of you to say. That is the thing with marijuana smokers -- they will say anything to try to prove they are right.

There is NOTHING wrong with what he said. I am in high school. I am around kids that smoke around marijuana more than ANY of you. And yes, 1 out of 20 of them (if that) actually care about themself, and/or where they are going in life.

 

Marijuana is illegal.

 

Anything which is harmful for health should be keep banned.

 

Though i am not completely in favour that marijuana should be legalised ...But i have a very interesting point to make i.e ARNOLD SCHWARZENEGGER , the governor of california recently had a feeling that marijuana should be legalised as the government can apply taxes on it and it can be a boom for the state revenue .

Now i get a feeling that when my friends get the stuff illegally from a local seller without much difficulty when can the state put tax on it by making it legal as anyhow people who smoke , smoke !!!

OTHER REASONS :

1. THERE WAS NEVER A SINGLE INCIDENCE OF DEATH BECAUSE OF MARIJUANA

2. ITS NOT THAT ADDICTIVE THAN OTHER DRUGS

3. BEING A DOCTOR MYSELF , I FEEL THAT Ciggarettes smoke damages the LUNG MORE THAN MARIJUANA

REASONS WHY IT SHOULD NOT BE LEGALISED

1. INSOMNIA IS COMMON

2. YOU WOULD KNOW WHEN YOUR KID COMES LATE AT 4 AM AFTER A DOSAGE OF MARIJUANA AND LOST IN TRANCE !!

Smoking tobacco and drinking alcohol is also bad for the health. Should they also be banned? Sometimes, people that are under the influence of alcohol causes trouble to other people. Some people when driving tend to drive faster when under the influence of alcohol. Alcohol makes some of us to loose our self control which may lead us to cause a fatal accident.
