Well the world's largest annual sporting event Tour de France begins today for yellow jersey. We know that last few years were very bad due to drug scandals and now this time we would see totally different. This year we have biggest thing is Lance Armstrong is come back in Cycling. Title contenders are Armstrong, Cadel Evans of Australia, Denis Menchov of Russia and 2007 champion Alberto Contador of Spain, Armstrong’s Astana teammate. Will Lance win once again?

Maybe. He is 10th place in today's time trial. But I think Contador is still the favorite to win this year Tour. But I want to see a good fight between Lance and Contador during the mountain stage. - Dynashox -
Well both are playing for same team and I think team Astana need too choose one person for title. Also we all knows Lance is famous for Mountain races where he is so strong and can open the gap. He is not well on flat stages but once Mountain stages comes in action he will surly take time to others but we seen 2 years ago Alberto Contador was too good on Mountain stages too!
Yeah. Glad that they're riding in the same team. Who should go for the Yellow jersey can only be decide once they reach the mountain stage. Both Lance and Contador are good on mountain stage and time trial. And that's why I want to see a good battle between this 2 eventhough they're in the same team. Where is Alexandre Vinokourov? Well you are right! We only get to clear about Yellow Jersey but I think they will promote Lance to win for it if he has any chances at that time but we know no one can beat him in tough Mountain stages. Alexander Vinokourov will not compete in this year's Tour de France after the Court of Arbitration for Sport (CAS) insisted the Kazakh rider serve the full length of a two-year ban. So we miss him.
If Lance win this year Tour, I'm sure other rider will piss off because he have retired but after a comeback he still manage to win the Tour. I love seeing this thing to happen. Ahh... 2 year ban? To bad for him. But this year Astana have a team of good climber. They have Lance, Contador, Andreas Kloden and Levi Leipheimer. Look like they're unstoppable!! - Dynashox -
I did saw a live of this event two years back and was pretty pleased seeing the country side of France. I still remember cyclists passing through various villages and people cheering them on either side of the road. The atmosphere was very lively, but I miss seeing them these days as I fail to notice the coverage timings partly due to my busy schedule! Regards, RightMan
Yes and more good thing is they were same team in past. It is deadly combination of Lance, Contador, and Levi Leipheimer which is best climber for many years! I would be happy if they were still in Team Discovery which is no more in race now.
Anyone seen stage-4 ( Team TIME Trail )? What a results team Astana got and Lance is back for Yellow, He is just 1 seconds behind to Yellow Jersey and there are 5 Astana players in top 10 including Contador, Kloden and Levi Leipheimer. I think tomorrow Lance will take Yellow jersey as tomorrow we have first Mountain stages in tour and it will be tough battle between Lance and Contador.
Seems nobody interested with cycling here except just for 2 of us. Watching the stage 6, look like Contador have the leg for climbing. But there are so many mountain stages after this, maybe Lance just want to reserve his energy for other stages. But Astana have 4 riders in the top 10 in General Classification so I believe they don't care much who will wear the yellow jersey as long they're from their own Astana team. Well yes and we found that we both support same person or team in every Sports. Should we meet in hotels? Well Contador have best results among front runner but we know Pyrenees mountains is strong points of Lance where can pull big lead every year in recent and I not wonder if we see it again! Among all front runner Lance, Contador and Levi Leipheimer are strong climber and will secure Yellow Jersey for Astana. We also not forgot Yaroslav Popovych who always generate speed in mountain stages for Lance for many years and set up a way for him. I am sure they will support Lance to wear Yellow jersey. I am surprised to see Rinaldo did a excellent job.
I guess that is so true. Seeing Lance cycling right now is so unbelievable. He is already retired for a couple of years, but yet, his performance is quite the same just like a few years ago. What is the ranking for Popovych in GC? Will there be more team time trial after this? I love to see more power ride from the Astana team. They are so awesome. - Dynashox -
Well Lance is still showing to others that he is still king of Tour and no one can beat him. Well Yaroslav Popovych is right now on 26 in General classification and we knows he is also one the best supporting rider in Tour.
Man I didnt know Lance was racing this year...I should know this stuff, seeing I use to race competitive in my younger years..
It's same thing going right now as Lance and his team mate Contador are fighting for Yellow jersey and I think Lance will go for 8th title.
Look like there is not much action going on between the Yellow jersey contender. And today is the rest day, hope they gain their energy back and put more action on other mountain stages after this. - Dynashox -
