Is This A Nice Present For Someone's Birthday?

Next month it is someone's birthday and I want to get them something a bit special as we fell out a couple of months ago and I want to prove to her that I'm not a complete bastard and do think of other people.

I've been racking my brains to think of what to get her and I tHink I have come up with something nice.

She is a huge music fan (we have pretty much the exact same taste in music) so I am going to buy her an Ipod and put a collection of her favourite songs on it that I know she likes and the ones listed as her favourite on Last FM.

She doesn't have an Ipod and used to borrow mine a lot so I think she would like this plus it would have her favourite songs on it..

Do you think this would be a nice present? A friend of mine said it is something a stalker would do. :(

Well, thats a good gift. :) Don't be sad.
Any gift given by you will be liked by her. And an Ipod is a nice thing for a music lover.

Yes, that is a great present! Its not something a stalker would do (unless you hardly know her). It would be a bit weird if you bought her something so expensive, and put here favourite music on it, if you dont know here very well.

east london boy then? i was born in whitechapel and lived for a few years in canning town.
yeah the ipod would be fine imo but i think she may like sentimental gear more (my birds always do) just spend cash mate and you'll be fine.

How well do you know her? I can see how it could be seen as stalker-ish

But if you know her well, that's a fantastic gift :)

It's a great idea. As far as the stalker angle, that all depends on the nature of your relationship now. If she hates you and never wants you to come near her again, then you probably shouldn't bother. If you are still on friendly terms, then go for it! :D

    Is she an ex-girlfriend?

Well, if you are still in touch with here then buy here an ipod its a great gift. If you arent communicating anymore then you are a stalker.

We were REALLY good friends (bordering on developing into a relationship) but I sort of screwed it up when we had a row over her being rather childish and we ended up telling eachother a few homes truths.

I can be a real bitch when I'm angry and I've got a bit of an acid tongue on me and my 'home truths' hurt her a lot more than the ones she said to me.

She blocked me from MSN, Facebook, Twitter, LJ, etc.

Last month I accidently sent a text message to her instead of someone else. We swapped a couple of texts messages mainly her saying how she wants us to be friends again but I really hurt her with my bitchy sharp tongue.

I replied by saying how sorry I was and should learn to keep my bitchy comments and sarcastic attitude under wraps better.

She is not expecting a present from me as I don't normally celebrate birthdays or Christmas or any thing like that.

I think it will be a nice surprise for her. :)

That is a great gift idea. You know she will use it and the fact you put the songs she likes on it makes her realize you know what she likes.
