I prefer Google Checkout over Paypal as well. Paypal has huge fees and doesn't protect the accounts of their customers. There is so much fraud on Paypal and the accounts are so unsecured I am surprised there hasn't been any investigations.
I don't like Google checkout. It doesn't integrate well into websites/shopping carts and makes a site look budget to me. And I don't think they are much cheaper then Paypal (I could be wrong about that, it's been a while since I researched it...). That is just my opinion .
agree.. paypal have a nice seller and buyer protections... wonder why Google not cooperating with this online payment provider...
Google checkout is more secure than paypal as per my opinion. It protects the seller. Fraud transactions are detected by google even before we charge them. In paypal number of fraud is lot more than Google. Charges, after moving ahead from no transaction charges, it was very less initially. GC have however, increased the charges and they are now almost at par with paypal.
but.. GC only limited with US seller only. And Paypal have the seller around the world.... that's whyt he number of fraud is less then paypal.
No payment processor like Paypal. The are effective and widely accepted across the globe. Google Checkout is limited to the US. GC is not an alternative to paypal.
