$100 up for grabs! Logo + Header

Thanks for looking at my contest.
$50 will be paid to the best logo and
$50 will be paid to the best header

I have attached our template that will show the colours and size of the logo / header that we need. Please make sure all colour schemes match the logo and feel of the website.

A bit about the site:

- Poker related
- We will teach players how to play poker using videos

Header:

- This will include a button that says "Apply Now!"
- This area will be used to recruit players to make videos so we want a call to action e.g. "Become a poker training star now!"
- Should be a "hollywood" themed banner with the idea of making the player who applies a "Star"
- List using a star image as a bullet 3 reasons to join

#1 - get paid to make videos
#2 - become a poker celebrity
#3 - sell your poker coaching services

Logo:

I envision a star as part of the logo but other than that use your creativity.

 

Hey, sounds great man, I'll definitely take a stab at this, though I don't see any documents attached or specifications listed in the thread. Would you mind giving me 'ideal' sizes and colors?

Just thought I would add that the logo can be a bit taller than the current layout. So if you need to make it bigger to look good go ahead!

@Aderain - Good first draft. This is the type of look I was going for. I am not sure what to change. I hope you can design a header to match.

@Aderain - Love the background image you made up. Use that again but I decided to go a bit different direction with the lower header. Sorry for the change in focus.

This spot will be used to make customers buy the videos that the poker training stars make. This spot will be a sales banner for making customers by the videos.

So we want things like start viewing free videos today, have a look around the store. Browse Videos Now! Use your creativity to get people to buy videos.

@sanishan Not what I am looking for in terms of logo. If you resubmit please take out the picture of the girl holding the books as it has nothing to do with my website. Its just a place holder for a new header/banner.

Are you wanting your header/banner to be a static image, or an animated one?

 

Logo can be static, but the header below can have some animation but not too much. I want to keep it relatively simple and web 2.0.

Here's the logo I have come up with for your site. I matched it to the colors of your website but I can always change the colors if you want something bright and colorful. The design is in full vector and can be enlarged to any size.
