    I think is too white, put some colors to have some contrasts. And it needs a logo so visitors can remember your forum when they see your ads all around.

    I find that there is too much white space. You need to use color to define and segregate the main categories liek types of forums, what's going on, etc.

    At the very most, you might wish to include a top header horizontal bar.

    As was mentioned, you really need to add some color. It looks like your forum is getting active though and that should be your #1 priority :)

    Oooh definitely too bland. The design feels very 1995. Spice it up with some pastel colours and a pimped logo and you'll be on your way.
