I need an appraisal for a free dating site at www.LiveDateLove.com Google PR2; Alexa rating 283K overall, 55K in USA. Domain is 1 year and 2 months old. Total 15K members (that's 15K e-mail addresses) About 200-400 visits/day; 8258 visits from June 5 to July 5, 5380 of them are unique visits. About 20-40 new members sign-up each day. Adsense Earnings: May $111.55 June $97.05 (the site was down for a week because we were moving it to VPS from shared hosting) July (1-6) $30.69 We also installed Kontera ads, little earnings so far ($1.21 June and July) Let me know what you think. Our client is considering selling this site.
I like the script and the overall look of the site. However, I'm not so sure about the name: "LiveDateLove". It seems many webmasters these days prefer to use keywords in their urls instead of thinking up a catchy and unique name. What if Facebook would have called itself: "SocialNetworkingforHarvardStudents (dot com). Speaking of keywords, I'm going to assume that this site is trying to attain a ranking for the keywords "100% Free Dating Site". This is a very big niche and it will take a lot of work to gain a first page position for these keywords. Speaking of Ranking, I can't help but wonder where these 15,000 members came from. Does this site rank for any keywords in Google (or Yahoo, etc.). Where are the 200-400 visitors a day coming from (those that are not return visitors). A PageRank of 2 is certainly worth something, assuming the backlinks are stable and will remain. All things considered, especially the age of the domain, the PageRank and the Adsense earnings, I would say this site is worth about $2,000. If there are people out there who really like the domain name, I’m sure they might be willing to go as high as $4,000 (depending on other bids). This is just my opinion, and I will follow this post and hope to read some other opinions as well.
Thank you for your feedback. To answer some of your questions: The site received 360 visits in July from search engines (183 from Google, 126 from Yahoo, the rest from bing, aol, search, ask and etc...) A lot of traffic comes from oodle, we submit personals feed to them and they distribute it all over their network including myspace. We also advertise manually on craigslist, it takes time but it's free. Currently about 1 hour/day spend on advertising that brings about 10-20 new members from craigslist. Dating niche is very competitive so we played around with keywords. Since the site accepts everyone over 16 (not so many sites do that) we are on 3rd page in google for keyword "free teen dating" and on 2nd page in google for keyword "teen dating site", and 2nd page in yahoo for these keywords. Page 6 in google and 3 in yahoo for keyword "gay dating site" Also received 4 visits (in July) from google for keyword "100% free dating" and 2 visits for keyword "free online dating"
If I were you, I would sprinkle those keywords (the ones that you are currently ranking for) throughout your pages a bit more. This is especially important in the top text block. I am really curious at what other DP members think. I hope there are some more posts here.

Thank you for all your comments. Client want to sell for $10K but I told him that it's too much at this point so we have another contract for 1 more year. If you guys need help developing or promoting a site, let me know.
Yes, that's not a lot. But that's Kontera ads. With google we earn over $100/month. We also sell ad space if anyone interested. Text ads at $5/month or $50/year
