Article Directories?

    Howdy, Ya'll!

I was just wondering if there were any decent article directories besides Ezines and ISnare that I could submit my articles.

I know of a lady who said she submits to 20 directories for her clients, but she wouldn't tell me which ones (we're not in same business, but oh well).

also: is there a danger of getting dinged for duplicate content?

    Thanks.

That doesn't answer the op's question.

RavenMaven is asking where to SUBMIT articles (only knows of two places) and if the articles will get dinged because it would be duplicate content.

Sorry, I personally don't know of any but there are a lot out there. Have a search through the forums here and you should find lots of names mentioned. Hopefully someone can respond and provide you some in this thread.

Duplicate content is a hassle. Try this: 1 article = 1 site. We experimented with that and got better results for our clients. Also, it allows for more direct traffic.

There's numerous directories with high rank in Google etc. Some that come to mind are Goarticles, articledashboard, and articlecity.

    Good luck OP

    Thank you.

I posted this and then forgot about it (had some personal stuff going on), but apparently received an infraction for starting thread in wrong category. Wonder how long that will last.

Thanks for the tips on how to find directories.

    Have a nice day.

Use squidoo and hubpages, although they don't seem like article directories, they provide the same outcome as article directories.
