The Middle East needs to get over it.

If governments in the middle east don't learn to play nice with each other life is going to continue to suck over there. Who knows when it will end perhaps only when a new generation of people with new ideas come into power.

Take a lesson from America. If you want to make war with someone make it some place far away - try to keep things cool with your neighbors.

    Just an idea.

Cause as long as these people continue to fight with their neighbors life is going to suck big time. Doesn't almost every religion have some type of "love thy neighbors" thing ?

Did all these people miss that part?

The problem is it's militia groups making the most trouble.

I've said it before and I will say it again, it all comes down to Oil. Oil funds all the problems. Iran and Venezuela began getting very defiant as the price of oil went up.

Many people in the US have no clue why the fighting goes on in the middle east. It's far deeper than simply being mad at someone for what happened yesterday. We have it pretty good over here.

It almost seems like the only time "the world" cares about neighbors, solving problems, finding solutions, etc is when Israel fights back. As long as Israel takes the daily rockets, kidnapping of it's citizens, splodeydope suicide bombers, it seems like most everyone is pretty happy. Except Israel.

You noticed that trend too huh? :D

I have no problem with Israel's actions. I am sad for the loss of innocent life on both sides, but unless something is done, this will never end. Perhaps their action (or over reaction as some say), will call a lot of attention to the area by the world community and things get get in motion.

Hezbollah is a bunch of terrorists. They want to eliminate Israel and they murdered many Americans. How any American can support them is beyond me.

They need to find another way to manage their situations with out violence. Like I said, wanna go fight some one far far away ? Ok, maybe not a bad idea. But when you want to fight someone who's right on the other side of your border ? Very bad idea. It's well past time to find a better solution.

This "strategy" isn't working for anyone. How long do you have to do the wrong thing before you realize it's not working ?

So, it would be better for Hezbollah to use 13,000 rockets on say Texas?

Agreed. I'm outraged that hezbollah deliberately hides behind children and even more surprised at how many people here have turned a wilful blind eye towards it. I do hope the world community is capable of something, but with the blatant anti-Semitism going on, I have reservations. If nothing more can be done, at least take away the innocent civilians hezbollah is hiding behind and let them fight like "real men."

    Agreed 100%

No, attacking the USA is obviously a bad idea. But if you're going to have some enemies it helps that they're more than arms length away. Having neighbors for enemies is a really bad idea.

surely occupying land, and deliberately filling it with settlers is hiding behind children too.

There is no side with a moral high ground here. Just children dying. How many of these maimed HUMAN BEINGS will grow up normal balanced lives, and how many will grow up with hate in their eyes. Looks like a whole new generation of messed up minds is being created.

Every act of violence breeds more hatred. I'm glad its not my president supplying bombs, and trying to carry it on..........

Who is occupying whom? Israel was Israel long before islam was invented. Who took on Israel in 1967 and lost? And who gave land back?

I'm glad my government is not a terrorist organization whose leader hides in an Iranian Embassy and whose members hide behind civilians. It seems we both have something to be glad for, despite the obvious differences in reality.

Hey, lets put things in perspective.
Israel are only masacarring about 500+ civilians so far, Hamas have only killed a handfull since this started.
Compare that to the War and genocide in Iraq, 2000+ people killed per month and the fact that the Iraq war was about oil and it seems like a fairly small fries compared to the Hypocracy of the Bush administration.

Life isn't fair , people on both sides get a bum deal - they all need to just kiss and make up and accept that they are going to be neighbors for a while.

Dare I say, act like adults.
