Just a few days ago (4-june-09), Rapidshare has brought in a new concept called as RefererPoints. This can be found at your collector's zone page, like this one. It has an exchange rate of 2 Euro per 1 RefererPoint. Rapidshare has yet not disclosed the exact meaning of it. They say "More infos can be found here in 1-2 days." Lets discuss this. As it says "Winning New Customers", I think, Rapidshare gives away 1 RefererPoint, if some one bought a premium account while accessing/downloading your collector zone file. Just like referral sale money which we earn at certain affiliate file hosting sites. If its so, then it will be a great program. Now we can say, "we earn from Rapidshare...directly"
Wow!!! 50 Euro for 25 RefererPoints. i am so excited, in 5 days, without any cheap affiliation work, i am rewarded 50 Euro. How i wish, RS had started this years ago. Any ways not too late. As it says, "winning new customers", it is obvious that, u get a referrer point if some one bought a premium account while accessing ur link. But i have a doubt. When exactly does RS gives 1 Referrer Point, bcoz there are 4 type of account 1 can buy from RS ie. 30,90,180,360 days account. Also, i believe RS will keep certain minimum withdraw amount like 10Euro or so. Another sure thing is, RS will make payment through PayPal. PS. Finally, i don't have to search for ppl to buy a redeemed RS account from my points, as now I got a better way to earn...

No. i don't attach any message with my links. Its just that, ppl like my file and r ready to shell out 7 Euro, to buy RS account, so that to download my stuff.

From this time on you can even earn money by acquiring new customers.Even now, in this moment, a customer can buy an account and earn you up to 20 € by doing so! You can acquire new customers in the following ways: 1. Link with Referrer ID 2. File upload * Link with Referrer ID You can put an individual link containing your Referrer ID on your website. The link will look like this: http://rapidshare.com/premium.html?ref=REFSTRING * You can see your individual REFSTRING in the Premium or Collector's Zone. * Whenever a user buys a Premium Account via PayPal from that page, the resulting ReferrerPoints will be credited to your account. * File upload Additionally we will of course give you ReferrerPoints if someone buys a Premium Account from the download page of a file you have uploaded. This combination is set up to prevent attempted fraud. 7. By which means will the money be paid? * To get your money transferred you will need a Paypal account. * After we verified that your ReferrerPoints and RapidPoints were accumulated conform to our rules, the sum will be transferred to your Paypal account. * This may take four to six weeks. * We reserve the right to pay off only a part of the requested sum, e.g. in case ReferrerPoints had to be taken back from your account because of withdrawn payments of the new customer. It's understood that in this case we charge fewer RapidPoints according to the situation and the leftover balance can be requested again later. 8. What are the exact terms of participation and when do we verify if they have been fulfilled? * From a technical viewpoint just like with RapidPoints every user participates automatically, but we will only check the compliance with our conditions once a payout has been requested. Our Terms of Service apply for participation in our affiliate program. * Users who accumulated their ReferrerPoints by distributing files they were not allowed to (see our Terms of Service) won't get paid off. The same applies for users who got their ReferrerPoints by advertising in connection with that kind of files or on illegal websites. 9. Hey shavin, did you get your payment yet? I have enough points to cash out 60€ but I'm doubtfull since it takes so long to get your payment and I'm not sure if my files break rapidshare's copyright policy (all my files are movie clips)
