Maybe someone searched at google. Didn't found what they looked for and remembered the name of your website and typed it directly at the adres. Looked like they came from google....

BTW Why is your site out of the index as I like it and use it often

Clearly a visitor coming from Google SERP.

Different data centers can give different results. Due to technical problems with some resources, a data center can temporarily fall back on an older version of the index.

I don't believe the browser will send a referrer in this case. It only sends it when you have been "referred" from a page, (i.e. click a link).

If I visit blah.com. Then type in your URL, the referer in your logs is not blah.com. It doesn't work this way.

    Mong,

If someone two people search for the same word on google, they don't always get the same results.

This is because it's easy for them to hit two different data centers, which hold two different sets of results. You can check this at : www.mcdar.net/dance/index.php

You can check a lot of the datacenters there, and see that you are probably in some of them, and not in others. I doubt that google is testing something with just you. =)

Obviously it's not completely de-indexed in every data center. Either that or someone has set their browser to lie. Some naughty crawlers will report that they came from google when they did not.

It could be a lot of things... but it is mostly not what you seem to think it is.
