Domains on Globat.com

I want to register domain on globat.com. Does anybody registered domain there? They had very good prices, but I want to know if I will hove some control panel for my domain registration. Write here experiences with this company? I think that 1.95 USD for doamin is a very good price, but I need to have some good references on this company before I register my domain there. Thank you for your replies

 

i think the charges are extra for hosting, u cant buy domain alone, or might be 2nd year prices are high, im not too sure i havent used it, but just check the faq properly before you make a decision

 

I have used them, and their other company Domainsarefree, they sum up both the year's cost price (6.25 USD for .coms) per year in the renewal, although they are very good and really cheap

I have two domains with them. The Domains are Domainsarefree sometimes have problems with the Control Panel, but still it works so yeah, Globat Rocks, it provides you free domain forwarding too, so you could make a free website and have domain that redirects to it.

I have bought a domain recently from them without any hosting plan. It cost me only $1.95. As regards to forwarding the domain there are no problems too. What I found a bit problematic is to transfer the domain to another domain company. I sent them an email and I am waiting for a response. I hope I was helpful.

 

hey thanks, i also want to buy a domain name from globat.com. But, at ipower.com, one domain name just for $6.50/year, where you get free whois privacy. Which one is good for me? Any suggestion?

hey, some funny here.. After i ask you all, i've buy a little cheap domain name at globat.com only for $1.95/year. LOL

What i can say, the service is fast. In the minutes, they park my domain on their server and in the same time, i can access my control panel immediately.

Fast, cheap and good services.

PS. I bought the domain name using credit card.

I had 2 domains registered at globat for 1.95$ each..
The only problem they have is they keep credit card details on file. So its a one click renewal of domains. I lost 8.99$ by this and it didn't reflect in my domain. I didn't talke the pain of asking them as I moved the domains to godaddy for a sale.
The transfer process is really easy.. Control panel is okay with easy access.

I would recommend them for one year registration and sale / transfer later.

I have bought one domain name ps3savings.com at globat.com for 1,95$. This is a great price for a .com domain but the worst thing is the control panel, i prefer the godaddy.com control panel.

 

In promotion, globat.com offers $1,95 for one domain name. The next annual renewal fee is $14.95.

 

So, you've actually been able to transfer before the year is up?

 

Dude what do you need in a Domain Control Panel, just an area to change the nameservers and you are done
