Is it possible to find your partner online?

I am wondering, if it is possible to find your partner online, and what is the possibility??
I heard about many stories that ppl get married, after they met online??

Any one has an experience with online dating???

Sure it is, if you're looking for a big fat hairy bald loser that goes by the the name of Sexy Cindy.

 

I myself don't have any experience with online dating but I have a couple friends that met their partner online and are quite happy. So yes I do think you can meet your partner online.

I think it is possible. What you do is, join an online dating service you like. If you are male, make a list of all the women who have attributes you like. Send them all a message, and the more messages you send, the higher the probability you will get a positive response. Online dating is cool, because you don't have to deal with the BS you will have to deal with when you meet them in person.

Another cool thing about online dating is that it expands you geographical selection. Instead of simply dating girls in your city, you look for women all over the nation or world. There have been plenty of success stories. Always be honest about yourself and add your photo. This will greatly tip the odds in your favor.

Another thing about online dating is that you can speak your mind without fear of being ridiculed. You can tell a woman what type of personality you have, and she doesn't like it, you can move onto another woman. You can think of online dating as being like spam. You send a bunch of messages to women and mathematically, a certain percentage will respond. You just look at the women who responded and contact that one you like.

I don't know...I have seen a lot of attractive women at the online dating sites.

 

Why wouldn't it be possible?
There are many attractive girls on online dating services, probably in the same boat as you are.

You might not have luck but millions of people are doing it... so there are easily at least 100 marriages that can pose for testimonials.

 

I guess you never know until you try! There are plenty of dating sites out there. But I guess you never know what your going to come across. Who knows if its even going to be the same person that is in the add.

Possible? Sure. Likely? I really don't think so. While I agree there are several positives about searching for potential mates online, you miss out on the interaction you'd get with somebody in real life. You don't *truly* know who you're speaking to online. Anyone can post a picture they've snatched off the internet somewhere and lie about who they really are.

While internet dating typically tends to take the pressure off, I'd much rather take my chances in the real world.

 

The internet is becoming very interactive. A simple way to bypass the photo problem is to ask the person you are contacting to let you see them on web cam. Then you can be sure that they are the same person that appears in the photo.

If they are lying about their personality, you will eventually discover contradictions in what they say. I think online dating is excellent for nerds, geeks, and people who are shy. The pressure is removed, and there is no fear of rejection. When you finally meet them in person, you will already know them to a certain extent. However online dating does have disadvantages, so you must be careful.

 

I met my wife on ICQ in December 1999. We got married in October 2000 and are extremely happy with each other. I lived over 4,000 klms away on opposite sides of Australia. I was in Perth and her in Coffs Harbour. I now live in Coffs Harbour.

So, yes, it can work.

 

Amidst all the stories of internet romances working out, I still have to say you have a significantly better chance of meeting someone you connect with on a personal level in real life situations.

Congrats to those who've defied the odds and turned an online relationship into something more. However, despite the definite perks to online dating for those who are socially challenged I have to say I like my chances in the real world much better.

Lol i've gf whom i meet online.. she's accidently frm my college my city and my class itself..
and we are togather since 2.5 years
it's goin good till now.. planing to marry in future .. lets see how it goes hehe
