I want to ask, is it okay for us to edit the height and width of our ad? For example, to hide the word Ads by Google?

No you can't. You can't edit Google ads in any way.

If you do not want your adsense very long and want to be banned then for you it,s ok to do it. If you like to keep the adsense account do not do it.

Read the TOS it states it right there you can not alter the codes.

    I'm glad i found this!

I was thinking the exact same thing.

I was wondering if the fact that it says ads by google
makes people any less likely to click the ads....

Surprise surprise surprise. Only found a single mention of this on the Adsense site but it appears you can apply to opt out with permission of that displaying. At least for the mobile phone adverts:

    http://www.google.com/wssynd/mobile_content_guidelines.html

Under 1.2.1 under Ad label. Says though you need permission to do so. I wouldn't try it without getting such permission.

    Get ready to be banned.

Instead adjust your site in a way that it shows related to the ads. This way, the visitor will not note ads by google easily.

Don't even think of it. The first thing some members will do is report you on adsense hehe
