Does my website give a SPAMMY look?

Heh , there shouldn't be any negatives with the blue design. Just try the blue design and see how it works.

 

Well, to be honest I think the site looks really spammy and fraudy. If I were you I would redesign the whole website. I don't write this to be rude, just to give you some advice.

The one thing I hate about all the 'review my website' threads is that it gives all the Noobs free reign to make useless posts like "I like it", "good job", "looks great" just to get their post count up....Some of them probably never even went to the site! In a perfect world, all these posts would be deleted and infractions handed out....but we are not there! However, I feel the Mods are doing the absolute best they can with the time that they have to make this a better forum. That's my rant for the day!

As for some advice, I noticed the Adbrite 'pop-ups' (which I don't particularly care for) are not targeted to your content. They're showing ads for hair removal and hosting packages. I'm not too familiar with Adbrite, but is there a way to have the pop-ups more targeted towards your content? Your visitors are there to view info about acne, so chances are they are not going to be clicking on ads about hosting packages.

Does post count actually mean anything though?

 

Looks pretty bad.

 

So far it looks like spam, but in few days when he will change the design, it will look much better. You should change the design today, since it only takes like 3 minutes.

 

It is if you want to post in the BST section. A lot of people care about post count....It's like a status symbol just as much as rep is. Check out some threads and you'll find some from excited DP members for reaching certain post thresholds...such as 1000.

Heyy i have juz changed the template and it looks really nice and clean thanks alot! haven't arranged the menu and stuff yet though because having sum trouble in blogger at the moment.but i will surely consult for you if i find difficulties in blending the ads

but i think what you need to rise more above your competitors are well written and well research articles that conveys the idea that you know what you are doing and you know what you are talking about.

No offense, but it does look VERY "spammy".

Switch to a different theme that is more clean and put some spacing/paragraphing in the text.

Too many ads ? i have just one on left side bar banner and others 3 only which are inside the posts....which is less than normal..
