Hi, One of my site witnessed for very low Adsense earning and CTR! Traffic is normal like say 1k-2k impressions per day. On sunday I have done follwing things and now my CTR inceased by 100%(almost double) and earnigs also increased. What I did is listed below 1.I removed all the legacy ad units like leader boards and just put 2 haf-banners per page! 2.I just redesign my site color and font to fit with my Adsense ads. Shortly I blend my site to Adsense instead of blen Ads to my site! 3.Keeps the image .GIF image before and after the Ad! Thats it! see the screen shot below! If anyone succeed with this! then pls post here! [/IMG]
you are not allowed to place images near the advertisements i believe its against adsense guidelines http://adsense.blogspot.com/2006/12/ad-and-image-placement-policy.html
that is very true, you cannot put single pictures right beside an adsense ad. I guess you are better off if you can change it right away before the police finds it. Just my 2 cents JulieV
i agree with your second point. It is good and better for all adsense publishers to blend their site with the ads and not the other way. keep up the good work pal. keep watching it grow!
Hello, It was an old practice, but right now, or since a couple of years ago, it is not possible to use image close adsense blocks, sorry for that, but you could become banned. Best regards, Jakomo
As much as I hate post count padding, all I have to add here is "ditto". What you;re doing is very much against Google Adsense's AUP.
yah u can't used pic before and after AD, but u can use "adsense PIC ad " before and after just the payout for PIC ad is very low
delete the small image beside your ads or else you'll get banned. you don't want your hard work into waste right?
How could he not know googles adsense (tos)? It's not original and if he continues to use it he will get banned.
I used to do that few years back until google edited thier policy , If I were you I'd change it , 1/2 less ctr is better than nothing .........
As pointed out earlier, the revised TOS says that images should not be placed near the ads as the visitors may be cheated to click the ads, thinking that it is a part of the contents...
