PSP 8 not working like it was...

    I have Paint Shop Pro 8, and today when I tried editing a picture, I couldn't. When I use the crop tool, the bar doesn't appear at the top that lets me select the size of the crop and stuff. And when I use the text tool, the bar doesn't come up that lets me select the font and size and stuff like that.

    It's the same with every tool that I try to use. I can use it with the default settings, but I can't change anything. Can someone PLEASE help???

    The only thing i can think of is..When you go to View - Palettes - Do you have Tool Options selected?
