Well i got a few sites that are running adsense ads.
I usualy get around 14k of page impressions at google adsense.
Now i was calculating the amunth of page vieuws i have a day and that must be over 20k or something.
Let me give you my calculation:
    pcwallpapers.funpic.org has about 14k pages a day.
    pspwallpapers.host.sk more then 4k
    members.home.nl/yourdesktop about 700
    free-wallpapers.co.nr about 1k
thats abouth 20 k of traffic and i didnt count some small sites i am running adsense on.
I use the adsense on every page of those sites.
True my calculation somehwere in the process 6k of impressions is lost.
Can you help me explain this please?

wow thats a lot of Imps for those sites - well done

Stats can often be not 100% accurate and I would tend to trust the Google ones more than your own. I would very much doubt if google is witholding on you.

i've heard that google adsense traffic tracking is not entirely accurate also.

i don't believe they are being intentionally deceptive but it is a good question as to why exacty their stats don't match up?

I've had a bit of a problem with page impressions too. Take yesterday for example - I had hit 2k impressions, then checked stats again half an hour later and they were down to around 1800. Another half hour later and they were back to 2k.

This isn't actually a problem. You have to consider that your site stats might track visits by bots. Google doesn't track those hits for Adsense purposes. Add into the mix the times Adsense shows default ads (no ads) that can very easily account for the 6k in missed impressions.

Theres nothing much you can do. I'm guessing the main problem is with Adsense showing default ads. Perhaps you can get a CPM or other ad agency and then have those impression used to display their ads. That way you will earn from the impressions and it's likely that your stats might correlate better.

    Crusader,
That Adsense image ad you have on your site must be GOLD for you.
I didn't even realize it was an ad, thought it was part of the choices.
    It's the one for screensavers.com.

I rarely if ever click ads, as I'm blind as a bat to them.....LOL

Don't forget that some people block AS ads so you can get visitors without any impressions.

that's probably the reason. it's not how many impressions your site gets, it's really how many ads are displayed with each page impression.

You may also want to take into account that AdSense may not run on the same time zone as your other stat counters.

My google adsense runs on USA West coast time I think, where as my hit counters all run @ USA Central time. Sometimes this creates confusion.
