    i always use namecheap.com for registration as i have a lot of account balance there, it is because namecheap holds contests much often and gives away a lot of domains for free!

    dot coms are $7.49 and .info are $1.99 for new sign ups. I purchased web hosting with my domains that is how I got them for $1.99 at myowninternetaddress.com. Sorry for the confusion.
