Do you like this template? It's for the forum software vBulletin, which Digitalpoint uses.

What do you think of it? Constructive Criticism please.

 

Too dark. It could work if you are selling car stereos.

It's too dark... but you can go with it, then tweek it later...

 

I like this color basically, moreover eyes will be safe over long reading.

 

Yeah, you need some colour(color) make it cheerfull! make it catch your eyes.

 

A bit more colour wouldn't go astray. Just using 1 other colour and shades of it could be very effective in highlighting important areas.

 

Text color contrast must be improved so that it will be easy to read. The overall design is neat though.

Maybe different shades of Grey? When you hover over links, they do go gold, you can't see this obviously from the screenshot.. Is this enough?

I can get a live demo up soon enough for anyone who is interested in seeing it live.

I voted Nope, because im not a fan of dark backgrounds.

 

I love the dark theme myself. Easier on the eyes for long time usage. Be careful with your contrast colors.
Let us know when you go live.

 

i think it is too dark for forums, hard to read....

 

Most people don't like light themes, I've found, but everyone has preferences, we recognise this and will be posting more for people to rate on here at DP

unfortunately this seems to be the general concensus with DP members, whereas other places I have showed this screenshot have said they prefer this over lighter themes.

Actually the fonts and the background is too
dark...
Actually I love Dark Colors but yours is just over.
Please make it more lighter cos I know the site viewers will complain on the colors of that.
That is just my feedback.

 

I am like white designs, no black.

 

I would add some attractive header, all other OK

 

its not bad

 

I think its wont hurt eyes, but consider to use less graphic for background etc.
many forum will not use large background.
The forums it sel is already a bandwith killer for some members.

 

Theme is looking ok to me.
