Adsense seems to be a lucrative model, one doesn't need to develop its own products, nor they need to know much about the process of selling. What needed to be done basically are having quality articles on their websites or blogs, learn to drive traffic on them and more importantly test and track the adsense code placements so that you know what is converting to money or what's not. However, despite the fact it seems so easy, what stop a newbie marketer to make money through it? I myself is somewhat making $30-$50 per month through adsense, and I have another income streams but just would like to hear what the newbies said here.
At one point it was quite easy to make significant revenue with AdSense, those days have passed (atleast for me). We do make some revenue from AdSense but not like it use to be.
People do make money with Adsense.... it is just that people are not very vocal of the same. People who are good at attracting visitors to their site, always use adsense to compliment their monetizing efforts! Regards, RightMan
Adsense just pays too little for it to be worth any effort. $50 a month just isn't worth most people's time. With all that article writing and submitting and traffic generating, you could be promoting a product and making a -lot- more dough.
Hi, Adsense is a good program. You can also place ads on your web pages, other than the blog, provided you follow the Adsense guidelines. Placement of ads in the right place can yield big results. One more thing is that, if you put Google Search Bar on your homepage, you will get paid every time the visitors do the search and click on any add. You can use their "search adsense help bar" for knowing any information in detail after logging into your google account. Damodar
I do believe I can make money with adsense but not enough money to support my needs... $20 for 3-4 months worth of working few hours for one blog is really a disappointment but still I do earn from it.
I agree it's a waste of time. I usually just look for banner ads or independent advertisers that will pay for the exposure. $50 aint worth the time.
Totally agree with w3bmaster - traffic is the formula. How one will monetize it depends on many factors..in my own opinion mainly on one's niche. I myself combine adsense with affiliate products (which are my general aim..purpose of my sites). Adsense pays decent for my niche (although not great) so I still keep it on most of the sites, although I'll have many more sales if remove it. However, if you are in some niches where you cannot get even 0.10$ per click better go different way. Seen some threads on DP where people complain that they get smth like 0.01 per click..which is just hilarious and definitely not worth the time spent. So suggest you to have a look around and you will get informed about your niche. Still the money flow depends on the traffic...depends on out of how many impressions or clicks you do get these 50$ a month, as the problem might be not in adsense, but in your site traffic instead
Everyone can make money from Adsense as far as their websites can get targeted traffic. The more targeted traffic a person has, the more he can earn.
I did not believe making money with adsense in my case.My website has atleast 100 visitors per day.I got banned by google adsense for no fault of mine.So iam trying other publisher programs.
