I applied to lots of advertisers, but once I submitted my apllication, it said declined, won't they even review my website? I want to get a few good paying ads and get them to moy website, can anybody tell me why?
it could be a lot of things, some advertisers wont accept u depending on your location, or if your new to the network, some require a certain amount of page views.... sakto is right, email them
If it's auto-declined instantly, then it's likely your location....some advertisers still think that an affiliate must be in the country they are operating in, for some reasons.
I do this often, and seems to work well. Just showing your interested enough to contact them indicates you might put some effort in promoting their services/products. hanji
One of the best way to avoid being unceremoniously declined when applying for affiliate program is to take time to fill up your profile fully. Make sure you included all the websites you are managing, what type of campaigns you are using, how many traffic/subscribers you have, as well as other information that you think can facilitate your application to any program. This way the affiliate manager can judge properly how fit you are to promote their program.
sometimes they auto decline because in your account with your websites your website profile didn't match also It could be because you are still in new status...if you don't have a access number or email of the company you wish to speak with pm one of us and we will see what we can get for you!
what i woudl do is simple, choose a new advertiser and promote their products. no loss to you as you will make money through the new affiliate..
I think some of them have requirements, like how many ticks you have on your green bar (1 out of 5 = auto rejected), etc. I was just rejected by HP, and sent them an email asking them to please reconsider, and stated my reasons - they let me into the program a half day later. When I had 4/5 on my greenbar, I never got rejected. Ever since the best affiliate program I've ever used was dropped from CJ, I'm down to 1/5 and earning basically nothing (gotta love affiliate marketing, right?) and I am getting rejected nearly half the time. Other affiliate programs don't even check their email (ThinkGeek is one of them), if you get rejected by those, it's best to just move alone.
Most of the time when your site is automatically rejected it is due to the fact that your traffic numbers are low, or your network earnings are too low. The best thing to do is to contact the affiliate manager and ask them directly. A lot of times if your e-mail is well written and you explain to them that you are actively working on promoting your site through SEO, Adwords etc they will accept you. Of course there are some that will decline you because you don't fit their criteria, or they feel like declining you just because they have the power to do so.
