Why isn't everyone going out and creating 300 websites a month?

    Yes, it is possible .
But I doubt the content are junk and spam rather than quality content .

Any websites. Can't you just find keywords with decent number of daily searches, an relatively low competition websites?

Then all you'd have to do in theory is find some articles on said niche, buy a domain with a keyword rich niche, post the articles on the website. Submit the articles to a few article directories. post the article on a few relevant forums and blogs. Set up adsense.

At worst you'll make 0.1 cent a day.

Repeat the process 300 times and that's 3 dollars a day. At worst.

yes, but like you said, "in theory" it should work. i personally wouldnt go thru all that hassle to make a penny a day, let alone do it 300 times for $3.... theres many other, more lucrative ways of making money online.

Of course, but for those without sufficient knowledge of internet marketing these higher paying websites aren't so achievable.

Plus a penny a day isn't an accurate prediction. You could make dollars a day from various sites.

I mean you are absolutely right. But it just seems strange to me why noobs with time on their hands don't take the mini site route.

It is working for pennies. But with hard graft pennies turn to pounds. And pounds turn to thousands.

300 domains (.com or .net) will cost you about 2400USD and there will be hosting cost involved and you may want to host all of your website few different ips. so its not worth it if your website make 1 cent only. but if all of them make ateleast 1$ a day then it may be worth doint it.

The effort of maintaining 300 sites will be time consuming and it is not guaranteed that all of these sites will earn a buck or two in any given time.

    .info domains are 0.99.

And I wasn't intending to maintain the websites.

Though I understand your point sakto.

Yeah I was going to make exactly the same point as redwine, if it was actually possible to do it on free sites though . . . . . is this possible? Anyone have any experience? Adsense is prohibited on blogspot domains now isn't it?

Also however you have to factor in the work required to get the backlinks ad realistically 300 sites a month or 10 a day is quite an effort too. But maybe 2 or 3 a day is possible and it'll get faster over time also as you build experience.

I appreciate all the feedback. Even though I'm adament this will work, critic taken on board will only serve to minimise the noob mistakes I'm likely to make.

Well, currently my two blogspot sites are making $2-$5 a day with adsense, so I don't think one has to make 300 sites to earn just $2 a day.

300 sites should be targeting some sort of particular niche, and one can start to dominate a niche with low competition.

Domain names aren't necessary to be purchased for this purpose, social sites can also deliver the same result rather a much better and quick result if you want to dominate Google.

Well it works,.. It very well works..Not Just theoretically, but it works very well and it works like a charm.. But people are just lazy to go ahead and do it.. and People only think..

Sometimes they don't have a plan.
Sometimes they do have a plan but do not implement
But it works well for us.. really do... because we have so much less competition.

take this example.. I have some Niches (not just 1) where I own more than 40 Websites.. Few Mother sites and several Mini sites. Not including the wordpress.com, Hubpages, Squidoos, blogspots and what not :)

It takes a lot of hard work, discipline, Late nights, Planning and execution...

    Lost of Notes and excels...

Without a plan you end up developing Junk sites where you sell "blogposts in different IPs"

    BUt this works... shhhhhh......
There even was a guy who made a thread here.. He created 100s of blogspot blogs to make 2000-3000 a month..

If you can Implement, there are just hundreds of examples I can cite...

And the best thing..... YOU OWN all the LINK Assets..

Just be smart not to leave footprints that suggest that you own all the sites.... It works now.. But Google keeps updating..

It's quality that matter and not the quantity.

It's always better to stick with just a couple of sites that you can focus marketing it instead of having hundreds of sites but you start to forget about it in a matter of days.
