PR of Twitter Page Helpful ?

I just want to ask if pr of twitter page is helpful in something or help to increase your website ? Is it nofollow or dofollow ?

I just check my twitter page today and it's PR4

So, any body tell me is it possible ?

 

its nofollow but the benefit of having a strong twitter page is simply to have a keyword as your username, then you might possibly rank for this keyword so that something to do with you dominates the searches as much as possible

 

Yep, twitter accounts can rank nicely, but the backlinks are worthless. I'd recommend using a short URLservice anyway, since the space per post is very limited and normal links use up alot of it.

 

The PR of your Twitter page won't have a direct effect on your own site PR and ranking. But it will give you more visibility in SEs.

 

It's nofollow but it's helpful to get some traffic.

 

The backlink from Twitter is nofollow. So, even if your page gained PR10, it won't help you in gaining good PR for your website.

Thanks, I was thinking of adding backlinks from twitter but I think ill allow it now

 

For me twitter is for:

1. Search Engine Visibility
2. Community Popularity
3. Referral Traffic Production
4. Revenue Increase

These things are directly proportional to the number of followers you have.

 

well the good news after the recent pagerank sculpting update, the nofollow links do pass on some link juice now.
