Does my website give a SPAMMY look?

Hello,
I have a pretty detailed question.

1)I am using bidvertiser and adbrite on my website.It is a blog actually and I have just updated the template so after that when i customised the ads of adbrite and bidvertiser I couldn't find the exact background colour neither the color which is kind of green and nor the other one so somehow i picked the colours you can see at my blog, Does it give a SPAMMY Look? or it matches well? if it does look spam kind of site and doesnt match then can you people suggest some contrast of link colour and background colour for my ads which would suit the template?

2)When i check my indexed page in google by entering this command "site:http://acnetreatmentandmedication.blogspot.com" first thing is that shows only 4 pages althought other 4 5 pages are also ranked good for few keywords which aren't index there. and the second problem is look at the description. It shows "LABELS. acne (1); acne and stress (1); acne cures (1); acne disease (1); acne free skin (1); acne help (1); acne scar home remedies (1) ..." for 2 links and for other 2 links it shows"20 Jun 2009 ... What is acne, causes of acne, symptoms of acne, treatment of acne, medication of acne, home remedies for acne." which is my general description.

I have added meta tags at my blogger by some trick online.but its showing kind of 2 things again and again on those 4 links.how can it be fixeD?

3)Last but not the least, any other further TIPS you would like to tell me? or anything you think that can optimise my website or ads more?

Looks good to me, the only thing I would say is work on the colours around the Google adverts, they tend to look a bit messy like that. Apart from that it looks fine.

 

umm let me guess you are talking about bidvertiser ads at the top? well,that is what i am saying that i couldnt find the exact background or font colour for the ads as my website so i wanna know what contrast colours would make it look better ? thank you for liking it though.

 

wow i juz figured out dat the color plate available there is not the end of da world loll i juz figured out i can put the colour number there to get any colour annd my ads are nicely blended noww anyways ne more suggestion for optimising ? plus any answers for the other question about meta tag keyword thing ??

 

Tough love time. Your header looks like shit (plain text?!), and the ride side menu links are totally obscured by the bg color, and yes, your ad placement is not good.

For $15 bucks I'll make you a way better banner, and you can fix the other issues pretty easily yourself.

I doesn't look spammy to me but the theme/template you are using seems not befitting for an acne site. It's just too chic to be considered serious, imho.

 

Ah, my bad, I was in a pissy mood, but it really is pretty damn bad.

 

It looks alright, but not its best. I would recommend changing the color of the design, then I would give you 100% perfection

 

It does look a little spammy. I personally really do not like your header and how you have only used plain text. That to me screams out "spammy" probably more than anything else. Also, you need to fix the Menu to the right, the color of the text and the background (with the dotted lines) are obstructing your vision. Also, the banner ads seem really out of place and you should focus on joining affiliate websites that have acne products.

 

I totally agree with you on that one, the menu at the right is unreadable, lol

 

First of all thank you everyone for making comments @ the above guys i know its weird but in internet explorer it doesn't show lines at all under the menu but in firefox it is showing dotted lines lol.so i thought its only me whos seeing those lines.actually im not a pro in website designing or something lol so i just downloaded that theme...can you please let me know how to remove those dotted lines or make the space between them because i think those are underlines but too near. and i used plain text in the header but can you give me any example of a nice header or any suggestion that would suit it? and what colour should i change and what colours would be good?

For suggestion on your design, the best place would be to post your website is reviews section (at the bottom of the forum) and people will review your site and let you know what they think and what should be improved.

All I can say about it is that is a webpage. But in rest is like a kids play on sand building castles and stuff. What do you want to do with it I don't know, but that definitely cannot be used to sell anything (even ads).

Your visitors will have about half of a second click the back button. For me, it has even a scary look.
Is this your first day on the internet? Didn't you surf some pages before? Well if you did, you definitely have some eyes troubles.

Do this test: open this thread in a tab, then open your page in a different tab. After seeing your page for a long time, quickly switch to DP tab. Doesn't feel a bit relaxing to your eyes when you're in the DigitalPoint tab? If not, you definitely got something in the eyes. Something big.

 

Looks spammy, doesn't look like you spent more than an hour creating the whole thing. Try using wordpress with a nice template. This web site looks very generic.
