What's wrong with my site?

What the hell is going on with my site? OK here's the story.

I updated my site title three days ago, and Google showed the new title the following day, and my rankings went up. Now two days later, Google IS showing the old title, why??? Rankings went down also.

    Help!!

keep this title intact now, eventually google will show your current title and results will go up!

Well I heard the update was going on, maybe that could have something to do with it.

I agree with gurtney though, leave it.

It is possible sometimes Google cache old info from local ISP server.
    SERP job takes time.

That is weird, but I think it is problem coming from Google. Like people saying above, just keep your new title there and Google will eventually find it. May be their server crashed like any other servers and they had to reinstall it.

The same happened to me and I lost almost all the good rankings on one of my webstes, hopefully it will be back soon tonormal, I'm a little worried. And I see old results indexed on one of my websites, there is something going on with google, not all the websites seems to be affected, weird...

I was having a problem with Google caching my site, so I added the noarchive meta tag (see Google webmaster tools) and now they don't cache old copies anymore.
