    This was a major discussion among some friends of mine.

    I went with Lord of The Rings. I feel that it is well written and extremely imaginative!

    you and sana 10 are right.. the series has a definite plot that is appealing but why is it better? I still think lord of the rings is better but put a vote in.. cause right now lord of the rings has it lol..

    Frankly, there is a huge difference between the two. Lord of the Rings creates a completely different world of its own, and the attention to detail is far, far greater than that of Harry Potter.

    Just for the record.. I am pretty stoked about the new Potter movie coming out tho.. looks good.
