SEO Experts everywhere

I use seo to make a living. I have learnt by myself for at least 2 years now, I don't consider myself as an expert and I only do it for my own mass of sites as I can ramp my earnings month after month.

But why are there so many guys on this forum, claiming to be experts, with tutorials and blogs in there signatures, opposed to just real sites that they have actually done.

Why are so many trying to teach and trying to sell there services to someone else. Opposed to just making their own sites and shoving adverts on?

Whats better, charging 250 dollars for the day once, or getting 2 dollars a day for ever on a site that takes 12 hours to make and 30 minutes a month to update?

I don't get it!

 

ys agree with your view, no one is expert in seo field, every one in learning stage, so its very early to claim as seo expert

 

People consider themselves to be experts because it doesn't take two years to learn SEO. You can literally pickup enough knowledge in half an hour.

The people who make a big deal about SEO are the "SEO Experts" who tell you that to survive online you need to have that company charge you 250 big ones to check a few lines of code and keyword density.

SEO is the single biggest rip-off on the internet today

 

claiming to be experts is incorrect but you have complain why do they teach is not your concern they share knowledge they know about seo with every and it's a good thing.

 

Results is the key. If someone says they are an expert, make sure to check their previous work results.

 

WEll yea the net is full with "experts"

Theres nothing wrong in offering services (this is a good way to earn money) but it's sad so many think they are "experts" and many use them (waste of money)

 

using signatures to promote guides and tips to seo, is one of the best ways to generate seo leads! My company uses a download that is linked from every news article, last week alone we got 14 good leads through this method!

Giving advice to those who don't know is great because if they think you do know they may pay for your services anyway. Plus this place is a good way to share tips on how to do stuff differently

 

If that is the way you feel why are you wasting your time doing reports for others?????

I think there are a lot of people on this site that say they are 'experts' but they only thing they are 'experts' at is lying.

Why an employee works for a boss who doesn't know half of what the employee knows?

If someone can make money from domains why not godaddy. Why should it sell?

Anyways my answer for your question is this. It's just a matter of choice and circumstances.

 

not only SEO expert .....
almost every sub forum(DP) have their own expert, whatever question you ask, i'm sure you have more then one different answer .....
Basically all comment and answer just for reference only, u need to make yourself expert of all expert to decided which to follow

 

because this forum is full of newbies asking questions, so-called professionals and idiots constantly trying to sell rubbish. thankfully it's saving grace is that there are actually a FEW that know their stuff and can articulate it well enough for others to understand.

 

maybe its because of the unreliable income - we do not know when adsense bans - we do not know when our site goes down the SERP - that is why people do SEO and make cash instead of starting their own sites.Another problem might be generating content.

 

SEO is a large field of study and educational systems can add Search Engine Optimization Courses into their schools or universities.

People claiming as experts here can be true or not. All i can say is that SEO is out there and pretty much flooded by these kinds of people.

 

"SEO Experts"!!! - What we do when we have to select between a learner & a teacher! The answer is same for this field.

 

Why to people who could make hundreds of thousands of dollars using their skills actually choose to be school teachers for tens of thousands of dollars instead?

Because not everyone is driven by the almighty dollar... Some just like doing a certain type of work because that is what they are most comfortable with or what they get the most satisfaction from. Not everyone is driven by the same thing.

an excellent point - and i would definitely say there is too much "money money money" on this forum. too many fly-by-nights wanting some quick cash without knowing the first thing about e-marketing.

 

I think everyone is expert if he/she can able to increase traffic on the site and keep increasing it month by month and converting that traffic onto conversions. In my opinion he/she is the real expert.

 

Search Engine Optimization is the process of ongoing progress of website ranking at major search engine. There are several methods available to increase your website ranking. But some persons, who are clamming to be expert seo, don't know search engine optimization algorithm change time to time and your old know knowledge is also become weak.
if you are doing work to update yourself at search engine activity and keep some important points in your mind then you can improve yourself and your team. Just do your work honestly and get good results and improve your business.

 

All things are easy when you know how. I'm sure that I could learn how to service my car but I choose to take it to someone who already knows. I do SEO consulting for business who want to concentrate of selling their widgets and looking after their supply chain and their customers.

All of my knowledge is freely available on my blog. I don't sell eBooks or videos or courses on the subject. I believe it's wrong to hash up information that's all out there for free and them put a price tag on it. There are too many so called gurus doing this and selling the stuff to each other. I do charge for my time if people want me to do SEO for them, that's all.
