Its pretty difficult not to use the pretty free display fonts like "bleeding cowboys" which is the font you used. Yet most of these fonts have some legibility problems and they are just too distracting to be taken seriously. I wouldn't let this particular font "brand your website." Take your time and be sure you are totally happy with it. Put up some generic header until you get something your real happy with. That's what I did..I am taking my sweet time with my personal logo because I want to get it right. That way it will last forever.
The logo too big. Use another colour instead black, red and white. I think you should make it's look smaller, put it in left and if you still want use black in header bg, maybe it's better use gradient. Make it similiar with your site title bar. It's better change the w colour with orange. Anyway the logo it nice.
Try orange or blue with a little bit of cloud image for the logo's background. The font is ok. Love the name : wheaven...cool
The logo still stand out I think. Your logo's background could be merge, unless if the background is part of the logo.
