I launched today http://www.youtips.net (not all the feature actually), you can learn a little about my website in the first post on my blog http://blog.youtips.net So now , what to do next ? I'll tell you what I'll do next, and please give me some tips or additional information .. I have already wrote some articles (I haven't a lot of time because I was coding), now I'll try to make a bigger effort and post more good content. I'll rewrite some of my articles, submit to ezinearticles and goarticles. In the same time, I'll submit to Links directories, I(m submitting daily to 5 directories manually, and about 10 to 15 other using submitterbot.com I'll find some dofollow forums and blogs , post some useful informations and get a backlink in exchange All this, to get higher PR , and so people will submit articles to my directory, and I can make link exchange with related websites. This is what I know, and what I'll do .. So any additional infos ??? Thanks for answering. I appreciate your help Toon.
Have you gain a page rank by this time?You can still do other marketing ways like blog commenting which carry traffics like on forums.
Free reports are good to use, especially for a user driven site, pdfs are easy to create, it's just the time it takes to write the things, use these and provide the download of the useful ebook as an incentive to sign up to your list or some other section of your site. Free reports provide credibility for you as the author and if you wished you could sell the report... Never overlook promotional opportunities and article marketing plans must be planned out and executed daily or weekly forever if you are serious!!
Interesting .. Good idea so far .. Making some ebooks , finding a way to put links to my site .. and promote .. ok, nice idea , I'll try to work on it .. any free tools to creat ebooks or so ? Otherwise, any other suggestions ? Where are the DP Gurus ?
Under the "Community" tab, I suggest you install a forum. Because that is what most people think about when they see that word. So when I clicked the community tab, I expected to see some kind of real community - like a forum - and all I saw was articles. Perhaps open yourself a youtube channel and start posting some tips videos that go along with your sites content. You can then use the videos as content to go along with the articles.
Actually, as you can notice, when you click on sign in or register that there is two possibility .. I'm still workin on the second .. The first is the Writers community .. ready to use .. the second is "Youtips inside" , I'm still working on it as I said in my first blog post .. Youtips inside will be a drupal based .. forum , chat rooms , ask and answer center , groups .. etc etc .. The second suggestion , maybe I'll do this but not for the moment .. it needs much .. work I can say .. I prefer focusing on writing articles for the moment and build a good knowledge base ..
You could use the openoffice software, which is at openoffice.org, if you don't have it on your computer you can download it there, I use this to create my pdf ebook reports which is absolutely free, although it is around 148 megabytes, so be prepared to have some spare disk space....
