I've read that somewhere around 100 protestors have been killed (according to LA Times), and scores of protestors and journalists have been beaten and arrested. If they continually go out and protest, and are beaten by the militiamen or police each time, who would wear out sooner, Ahmadinejad or the protestors? Not trying to be negative, because I wish you success, I've just been think how difficult the situation seems to be. It seems the government will silence anyone that wants to protest, what can be done?

Rececca, i really think more than 100 are killed because the iranian state controlled tv station wont let teh true numbers out or the world will probably be horrified at the truth. I think the mullahs made a huge mistake here. The iranian people are waiting for one moment in time when they are at their weakest and they will boot them out. Rafsanjani seems to be more moderate which is why they arrested his daughter to show him what would happen if he joined the green protesters.

Odd... You do realize that I agreed with Nima right? Apparently not. Who's the troll? Try reading the entire thread before interjecting silly comments.

moreplayerz, you apparently can't read anymore. He was AGREEING with him, that doesn't make him a troll. Now you read into things, take them out of context, instead of doing what should be done, taking a post on a forum for face value of what it is. You see, not all of us have hidden agendas.

Stating facts is not whining. You're the one that is going from thread to thread attacking people. But yet, you can't read a simple post and understand what it says.

You can't understand that agreement with someone does not make them a troll. To you anyone that doesn't fit into your narrow view on how the world should be is a troll. You throw the word out there without understanding the meaning of it.

When you can learn to play nice you may get taken off ignore, but, since all you are doing is trolling yourself, you are now on ignore, way to go.

The good thing about Mia's posts, is the fact that you don't even need to post anything to show how stupid it is. :D

You didn't overthrow Shah. Washington decided to change him for an Islamic government to build their green belt of Islam in front of those days soviet union. ;)

Gworld its not that cut and dry. The iranian people were sick of our installed puppet the shah that they turned in desperation to these extremist mullahs. Mosavi was part of that revolution but I dont think he envisioned an islamic state that extreme (probably a little more moderate eventually like jordan). Some of the stuff your saying makes sense though.

Mosavi and Ragsanjani are as corrupt as the Mullahs... There's no hope...

I don't buy that. If it was indeed the CIA who decided to get rid of Shah in favor of radicalization of the region, then why did they direct Saddam to attack Iran? Was the CIA fighting on both sides? Doesn't make sense to me...
