i've found a lot of sites who are in this situation, i think in your situation since you seem to be doing all the right things, you should talk to an actual expert rather than just opinions from the forum
@k_x, if you pr=0, how can you get such good traffic, sometime we wanna high pr just because it can rank your keyowrds top in serps, so more people will find it when they search the keyowrds, and the the final purpose of getting pr is to get more traffic, how you can do that?
You can easy get more than PR3, but if you want quality and good pr with good traffic you have to exchange link with similiar web pages like your, no bad spamlist or other bad things, add good content and thats all
Congrats on the PR2. Tell me what keyword's you are trying to rank for and I will give you some advice. BTW stop worrying about PR unless you want to make money by selling links. Your time would be better spent if you try to rank for keywords.
Yeah, I've started doing that now. Thanks! You're right. Well, I want to rank for finance related keywords.. - finance - credit - mortgage And so on...How many keywords is it good to usually target? Thank you.
I think you don't need to worry about the PR.If you want to increase the PR you have to do some very relevant work on your site. Means quality and qnique contents, relevant link building etc.
Whenever you are trying to rank for a niche go for long tail keywords. Why so? Because it is a fact that people searching using a single keyword are not serious about their searches. They are just testing waters. If you pitch them a product it is very likely that they will ignore the product. Also you should target what is known as buying keywords. Say you are in the hosting business you should not try to rank for "free hosting" instead you should try ranking for "dedicated windows hosting" or "commercial hosting" Pick a single keyword, rank for it then move to the next unless you have lot's of resources at your disposal. Go for low competition keywords.
