Can't delete and post new messages

    I can't delete and post new messages? Why is that???? Also there is problem with the forum login, if i don't check the box "remember me" i can't login ....

    Posts cannot be deleted, you can post new messages and edit them if there was deletion you'd have tons more problems DB wise.

    Since there is a logout button in the toolbar, checking remember me is the best option cause it places a cookie. DP forums is too big for database marking which is why you have to click Remember Me.

    All of the problems you mentioned are encountered when database can not keep up with demand. When you say you can't delete messges, I expect you are meaning you can't delete private messages. You may have actually deleted the messages but database may not reflect deletions. Similarly you may have posted messges that will show up later. Do not repost for you will end up with several copies of same post.

    As Stroh suggests always use the remember me option when logging in provided you are logging in from your home computer. By doing so you will avoid the login issues.
