I am using dedicated server from iweb.com for my site.

manager of my server sets dns

Name Server: NS1.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)
Name Server: NS2.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)

    my site is www.iransalamat.com

question is it is better to have dns like this(as example)
    ns1.iransalamat.com
    ns2.iransalamat.com

    or
    NS1.DNSEXIT.COM
    NS2.DNSEXIT.COM

is correct? I mean that setting making cause problem?

    sorry for my poor english

Do you mean "What is better - to host my DNS zone on my dedicated server or on the big special DNS server?"?

I think that uptime of DNS server with 21k domains will be better...

I think what he means is, he wants to have his own private nameservers.

    ns1.iransalamat.com
    ns2.iransalamat.com

I mean which type of dns setting is better for working my site perfectly

    ns1.iransalamat.com
    ns2.iransalamat.com

or that type of current setting

Name Server: NS1.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)
Name Server: NS2.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)

    my domain is www.iransalamat.com

I can guess that ns#.iransalamat.com is mapped to the IPs on your dedicated server and NS#.DNSEXIT.COM are specialized DNS servers of some provider. But information you gave is just some names...

If you are about performance of DNS server depending of number of domains hosted - don't think there is some difference because of DNS server nature and caching. Uptime is the main.

And why not to assign 4 nameservers and not worrying?

yes it is better to assign for nameservers... it is not so expensive

just getting information about current setting
Name Server: NS1.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)
Name Server: NS2.DNSEXIT.COM (has 21,361 domains)
