How long does it take to get ranked in google * new sites ?

Do you mean indexed or ranked?

If it is the former, you will get indexed soon.

If it is the latter, you may rank early depending on the competitiveness of the keyword in question. However do remember that newer sites initially receive a boost in rankings, and then tend to get relegated to the back of the results.

 

gr8liverpoolfan is right as long as google indexed your site later it will rank.

I would say in about a week's time.

 

it's depend on how long your blog will be index..
your blog will not appear on search engine as long as your blog not index by google..

 

Ading will not do anything.. Normally around one month will take to be in Google SERp.. If do proper SEO will get some good position.. otherwise will not be in SERP at all. It may index with in one week

 

It varies from a few hours to few months. But important thing here is that you must be listed in top 100 search results. Otherwise you can not expect a traffic from it. Get as many back links as possible and have a quality content. All the best.

 

I would say it would take atleast a months time from personal experience that too if you optimize your website for keywords you have planned to rank.

My website is only about 4 months old and its already ranked a PR2, and is on the first page for a number of different keywords.

The best way to get ranked, is to do many different methods of seo optimization.
Make sure you have the on page seo optimized first, before you even think of starting to build backlinks,articles etc..
