    I will list what I think Google takes into consideration.

    1. Number of visitors prior to indexing. (Although I have no clue how they can know that).
    2. No errors in the HTML code
    3. Relevant content
    4. ORIGINAL CONTENT (oh, yeah, big time)
    5. Local vs. global

    and what the person above has listed as well.

    I think if you mean daily (other than the on page stuff above) I would count these 3.

    1. Forum participation - I read and post to 3-4 per day - Like this one now !!
    2. Competitor backlink analysis - see what their lists look like.
    3. Review my own existing content regularly - update page with a word or two and a new page every few days.
