Hello Everyone. I have a question? Is it better to create a blog under my website with subdomain ? Or i better use services like blogger or worpress? I know how to install and use wordpress. Will more traffic come if i use blogger ose wordpress? And what about the income from adsense? Are they the same as u use in blogger or in your own site? And one thing else. My website is in Albanian Language because it's for albanians... does this effect if i want that my blog to be in english?
it doesn't matter that my main website is in albanian??? cuz i wanna create my blog in english and not for albanians ...
your own domain is always better. However you can add your domain to your blogger blog. But the important part is the content on the blog. the rest is secondary
And after i create my blog under my web and added stuff , placed adsense in the right positions... what are the best ways to promote my blog?
custom domain had many advantages, but it always depend on your needs. for search engine, it's (almost) the same effect
I agree with everyone here that your own domain would be a lot better. I don't think Google cares one way or another when it comes to your Application, but it just looks nicer when advertising and submitting to social networking / bookmarking / article directories / anything else.
if you use blogger you will loose you independence which is very important. buy some hosting there are some out there to offer rather cheap such services.
Well, I will suggest you to buy a domain and a good hosting. Install wordpress and then enjoy it. - Digital -
Blogger isn't a bad thing to start with. I can earn some money from Blogger. But to own your hosting, it'll be more flexible. You can upload and install good CMS such as joomla, etc. In short, start with Blogger, later on get your own hosting.
Making a weblog on your name is always better. It is more good if you get yourname as a domain name and make a blog on that.
blogger.com is a choice for people with no technical knowledge about creating a website. In your case, you seem comfortable with the technologies. I suggest you to go with your own domain. On blogger.com, Google may close your account, but with your own domain you have full control on your content and development.
I think there's something 'weighty' about a domain name. So I would prefer a domain name every time. I think you should have it in both languages, because then you will have so much more variety. Of course the work load will double, but at the end it will be worth it. My 2 cents.
