I think this has to be the new yahoo record for most ads on one site

No, its not mine , I was actually doing a search for a smilely , custom ones and I found this

    http://www.animationlibrary.com/subCategory/174/?page=2

Page takes a few seconds to load cause of the gif's but when it does ......

    I think I counted 11 ??

The ads are NOT targeted at all, which YPN is notorious at. This is a website about animation and the ads are about medications such "Have High Cholesterol" (lipitor ad), Information about Heavy Periods (abouteveryperiods.com), Dementation Symptoms and AD, Athritis Pain Medication, etc...
Can anyone tell what these ads have to do with the topic of the page??

Wow... They also blended it into the content (against the TOS also). There are WAY too many ads on that page...

You can have unlimited ads on a page, I am sure YPN still wouldnt like it though.

I wonder if that breaks these rules

    http://ypnblog.com/blog/2006/07/19/what-not-to-do/

    # Don’t place images next to ads. It’s dishonest and we want to be in a long term relationship with publishers everyone can trust. People will think those images have to do with the ads, and when they find that the site they’ve been directed to has nothing to do with them, they’ll be pretty miffed.
    # Don’t block the crawler. It keeps us from getting to know one another and is bad for both of us. Honestly, your blocking is not helping.
    # Don’t go nuts with the ads and place them all over every page like they’re your content or something. It looks like you are trying too hard.

    hmmmmm..... food for thought......

God damn, I give them credit for buetiful ad integration. It actually took me awhile to see where the ads were. Impressive when a site fools even a trained eye. They are soo getting banned ;) Then again maybe not, I think YPN sometimes has the ability to look away from good generating publishers.

Couldn't agree more. I think the clicks they generate will mostly be unintended.

How do you expect Yahoo to serve up targeted ads on a page without any content?
