Please help me with a simple question

Hi, im fuser and i have a simple question.

If i add money to my adwords account using a debt card, how can i make it a "one time payment only".

I heard that imagine you put 50 dollars, when the money runs out, Google charges another 50 to continue with the campaign..

Is this true?

I dont think Google will charge another 50 Dollars, they will just attempt to charge the amount that has been used in the campaign.

 

So its impossible to make a one time only payment?

I think there is a pre-pay and post-pay option. The pre-pay applies to you, just provide them $50 credit and when its out, adwords will pause your campaigns until you deposit more.

Rather than going through your a/c budget, you should look into setting your daily budget.

 

Right, that's the two options. In my opinion a campaign should be designed to create long term profit, so setting a daily budget, but letting it run open end and tweaking instead of letting it pause is much more effective.

 

Make sure you do the pre pay, we've had Adsense piss a lot of our customers off when they ran away charging over and over. I wish they would make it easier like Overture use to be.

 

With the exception of doing testing, you should let the campaign running constantly.
