Hello, I have started a cosmetics forum just yesterday. http://cosmeticsforum.net For cosmetics forum keyword it is on the first page of Google - how is it possible? I have sent some emails, but there were not too many guests at any given time and also I have not done any serious advertisement. How is it possible? Thanks, kempos
maybe you have been logen on google account. the results change when you are logged in. or maybe thereare no competitors on that keyword.
It is highly likely that the keyword 'cosmetics forum' is least competitive and your domain name including the same helps you in getting serp in the top ten. Do analyze the traffic you are able to generate from the SE to effectively know whether this serp position is really helpful to you! Regards, RightMan
Try logging into your web host server, there should be stats there. I would recommend opening a free account with Google Analytics. They will give very detailed stats. It's likely of course that you just got a temporary boost from google. That certainly happens with blog posts and news stories, for a few days, but it's rarer with websites, though still happens.
Each new domain gets an initial boost in the rankings. your domain name will definately help and it would appear that there is not too much competition for that keyword. Having said that its still an achievement to have it ranking so high, and you appear to have a healthy amount of visitors, just need to work out the best way to turn that into cash now. good luck
It is totally okay to get high rank higher for new sites and lower, this usually happens, so I wouldn't be surprised if the rankings go up and down.
Ranking go up and down, as for the sandbox, my sites tend to disappear and then come a couple of weeks after fisrt being indexed, some rank better after returning
Google likes fresh content and normally gives it a boost for a week or so. Check the rankings next week and it will probably have decreased somewhat, unless the term has very low competition.
try logging out of your google account. Orelse wait for 1-2 days your site will be back to its position.
I have logged out, actually check it on multiple computers. Still there and hope it stays Any idea how to get traffic from it? thanks
Yes it is possible to rank quickly if the keyword competition is low. The traffic would probably be low, but you might have a niche. I suggest that you install Google Analytics and also use the Google Webmasters Tools. You will be able to get a lot more information about your traffic. Keywords for example.
"Cosmetics forum" keyword is not highly competitive keyword. Meaning, that it's possible that your site will rank high on that keyword because you have only less competitors.
domain name always rank, if u put basic seo effort but real thing is you need to come up in high competitive keyword
The global monthly search volume for the phase "cosmetics forum" was 1900. That's why your site with the phase in your domain name can rank high in google.
