I heard that the way to do that was to offer free ringtones. The person just gotta enter in their number and a verification code to their cell-phone.
i dont know what the guy above me is talking about, but try searching google for "disposable phone numbers", "virtual phone numbers", "expiring phone numbers".... i knew of a couple services that offered this, but they have since shut down. you can also try just using your own number, they dont do anything with it, i have a couple accounts that i have used my home, cell, and work number for.
his is saying a way to trick someone into using their number thinking they are getting a free ring tone and they are really verifying your craigslist account for you
yes it sure is but it is a way to do it... you can always use your own number or a friends unless you plan to do some hard core spamming with it.
