So Log For Blog got its way to PR1. And it has only 8 blog reviews & one introductory post. I was too busy too promote it. And only a handful of users participated in it as it was new. But I think quality of the reviews made the difference with so little number of posts. Now I hope some of you, bloggers will join there to review & get reviewed for free & start link building.
Quality of review has nothing to do with PR. PR comes from links to your site. You can get a PR7 with a single link. Don't focus on PR, but rather quality content so quality sites will want to link to you.
You can get pagerank with 1 high pr backlink, just like mjewel said quality of reviews has nothing to do with your site getting pagerank. You should focus on building more content and gaining more backlinks.
True i got pr4 from pr0 with a 23 days old blog and 10 articles ..but i did some link building..try and focus on content.
I only like high pageranks blogs because peoples are interested to post in them..dofollow blogs i mean.. i think it's a great way to get traffic..but for this you need content..unique content
This incident itself shows how inefficient PR system is! Instead of just the back links, it should gauge the quality of the site also with the amount of visitors it is able to attract. I wonder if having a PR1 has made any difference to your traffic stats, for you to easily monetize it! Regards, RightMan
Pagerank is about link exchange. Do link exchange slowly and consistent, then you will get a high PR.
If you have original content on your site then you have pagerank. No need to get exited for it just get more more more backlinks to get Huge traffic because Page rank will not give you money the Traffic will give.
yes if you check this forum, most people has got good pageranks suddenly. it's a usual thing if you have a good backlinks. also the number of blogsposts doesn't effect
Congratulations, but it is not about great conent you have in your blog. Not yet! You got PR 1 because you probably have some backlinks from other sites and because your site is new. I saw that every new site get PR quickly and after 2-3 PR updates they come down, usualy.
I've got a domain that is parked with Adsense for domains which has a PR1 after only being linked to from a blogspot blog. Figure that one out.
