Remote DNS

    Hi all

    Need some help please...

    Ok I have set up a remote DNS with godaddy as I need rdns for our domains....co.za so I set this up and now I need to pint that to the server (the VPS) where my site is sitting...what needs to be set up on the godaddy side an a record or the likes? and what needs to be set up for the dns on the vps side for the domain....can anyone assist and explain and help me please

    You can setup forward DNS at godaddy - but reverse DNS can be setup only by your hosting company (IP owner)

    Just for reference, rdns stands for Reverse DNS which, as vasyl notes, is something that Godaddy is going to have to do for you.

    Remote DNS is something different.

    Only if hosting is also from godaddy - not only DNS
