No matter what country we live in we all have someone above us pulling strings. The government. What is your REAL Opinions on YOUR OWN Government? Do you like them? Do you hate them? Vote and tell us why below. Also please state which country you live in. I will be making my vote in an hour.
Should be in Politics Section but i still love my government its the best option for our countries development and i live in india
India - I hate them, government is run by those old men who can't even walk by their self. Very very corrupt.. forget that you can get any work done from a government office without money. They just play war of words at election time. Honestly saying, one of the worst government in world. I love my country but not government. I seriously believe that we need to change the administration model to some what like America where people elect president directly and not political parties.
They just play war of words at election time. Code (markup): Every government has to play war of words at the time of election thats how people know who to vote for and who not too
My governor cheated on his wife and might resign in the next hour. So you could say its a tad corrupt.
We need more choices than just "Love them" or "Hate them". I like what my government is doing for the most part, but there are many areas in which I disagree with them, but I don't love or hate my government at this point in time
indian government is slow, dull and boring. lots of plans but no action, nothing reaches the common man... the politicians are corrupt, old, useless outdated
Government is a necessary evil, and it's pretty much a waste of time to try to change it. George Washington said, "government rules by force." He didn't seem to like the concept very much. I live in the US. Over the years I have watched our freedoms slowly disappear. We are over regulated. These days there isn't much you can do without a license or a permit. And frequently, you can't get the license or permit to do it. From my perspective, the biggest problem is that the citizenry is more than willing to trade freedom for security. Usually, it's a false sense of security. We don't even have our own money. Our current monetary system is based on debt. The dollar is backed by thin air, and only worth what people agree that it is worth. That is a really big train wreck coming down the track. It will make this recession look like a bump in the road. God help you if you run afoul of our government. If you offend powerful people, they can destroy your life. The movie "Enemy of The State" accurately portrayed some of the things they can, and will do. Since 9/11 it's gotten much worse. The amount of freedom we lost after 9/11 was atrocious. I personally know a few people who have been held in jail without charges for an extended period of time. Our anti-terrorist laws allow government agencies to do it to our citizens. It's still going on. Confiscation of personal property is much the same. Our law enforcement people openly state that if they have a tool, they will use it. It's going to get worse as the new administration becomes more financially involved in the business sector. Granted, the current government involvement does seem like a quicker way out of this recession. Don't envy us in the US. A lot of wealthy US citizens have cashed out their assets and moved to friendlier countries.
