I outsource coding.. the stuff i cant handle.. I dont use outsourcing because its "cheap" , i have serious respect for anyone doing the job... and try pay bonus and build relationships ..

Key is to be clear from the start :)

Be key clear from the start. Know exactly what you want and create a plan and map out what needs to be done.

There isn't to much I haven't outsourced at 1 point in time. I usually outsource because I don't have to time to do it and I want it done today. Recently I've only outsourced small project, psd -> css, set # link building, article writing and then I do the larger projects myself.

Everything can be outsourced. But, if you are outsourcing a money making system, you can't give it all to one person, as that will reveal your system. The next thing you know, someone will be selling it.

For some things long term, you can find a personal assistant. Odesk is good for things like that. Amazon has an outsourcing service that looks pretty neat, but I haven't used it.

I have had some bad experiences with Elance a couple of years ago. They gave me no help at all when I had problems with providers whom I had paid deposits to, for work that was not done. I haven't used them since.

I've found oDesk to be good for more long term jobs. Something where you can keep the person busy for an extended period of time. I haven't had any luck with anyone there for smaller or fixed price jobs. Just because there isn't much recourse for dispute.

For smaller fixed price jobs, or large fixed price jobs. I've used rentacoder with great success. I've been able to dispute some jobs and get reibursed. Plus have gotten some great deals on work.

Rentacoder has been good for me, too. I much prefer it over Elance.
