Traffic drop on June 22nd - anyone else seen this?

    Hi All,

One of the larger e-commerce sites I manage lost 90% of all search engine referrals on the 22nd of June. It has lost all its rankings in Google even for the site name in an allinanchor: search (which would suggest a penalty).

Has anyone else noticed a major shift in traffic on this date or am i *special* ;) ?

Is the site mentioned in the DP Coop?

I had 5 sites running coop drop on that day and others that have had no change or improved.

Do you mean they lost their serps on that day online and now they are ok or is the issue persistent?

That is promising. At least you say you notice some changes.

My site dropped out of Google SERP June 22. I removed co-op ads from my site and it returned in Google SERP a few days ago.

The site was in the co-op a few months ago but the link have been removed for a while now.

The issue is persistent, there has been no change for over a month.

There have been no other obvious factors to cause the drop such as gray optimisation either. Very puzzling...

Did your sites also drop on their own site names or just primary keywords?
